Joey Vee (born in Warren,Michigan) is an American Country Music artist. He started his first band at age 18. Joey went to College to become a Mechanical Engineer, while studying Engineering he continued performing and writing songs. Joey has frequently traveled to Nashville and performed at the CMA Festival (Tootsie's) five consecutive years (2013,2014,2015,2016,2017). Joey has opened up shows for Randy Houser, Joe Nichols, Montgomery Gentry, Josh Gracin, Easton Corbin, LOCASH, Ray Scott, Eric Paslay, John King, Aaron Lewis, Due West, Krystal Keith, Lorrie Morgan, Ty Stone, Gunnar & the Grizzly Boys, and Lover Boy. In 2015, he was nominated for a Detroit Music Award for “Best Country Vocalist” and nominated in 2017 for “Best Country song” for the song called “Look at What You’ve Done”. Joey also was a Semi Finalist in the National 2015 NASH NEXT Contest. Joey performs regularly and performs approximately 70-85 shows a year in Michigan, Canada and various surrounding states. Joey Vee has also performed at the WYCD Downtown Hoedown (2012-2016). He released a Christmas song in December 2013 called “Our First Christmas in Love” that played on 99.5 FM WYCD (Dec. 2013-2019). Joey continues to give back and do concerts for Veterans in Crisis and Gilda’s club who helps folks battling cancer.
